Comfort is Care
Over the past year, Gilda’s Club Minnesota’s aging HVAC system has failed again and again. We have been forced to close for multiple days, sometimes because the clubhouse hit 90 degrees, other times because we dropped into the 30s – neither of which are safe or comfortable temperatures for our members who are facing cancer. These closures interrupted our programming and kept our members from being able to connect in person at our clubhouse.
People facing cancer need a safe, stable, comfortable space for support, and we’re determined to continue delivering that. The Comfort is Care Campaign aims to raise $100,000 for a new HVAC system and other building improvements, including updating our fascia.
