Registration and the walk start will be located off the walking path near the intersection of Lake of the Isles Parkway and S Newton Avenue. The location is indicated on this map.
Parking
Street parking will be available in the neighborhoods surrounding Lake of the Isles.
Check-in and Registration
Check-in and registration opens at 8:30 am. Be sure to check in before the walk begins at 9:00 am to pick up your T-shirt and bib! Same-day registration will be available for anyone who would like to join the walk day-of.

Where is the race located?

Where do I park?
There is street parking around the lake and nearby surrounding streets.
Do I have to walk to participate?
No, you can just attend to cheer on your fellow GCMN supporters! All our welcome on this day to celebrate and honor all those who have been impacted by cancer.
Can I register the day of?
Yes, registration is open from 8:30 – 9:00 am.
Is Gilda’s Run/Walk virtual this year?
No…and yes! In 2025 we will host an in-person race on September 27th. We will also offer a virtual option for anyone who prefers to run or walk on their own.
What is a virtual race?
Although Gilda’s Run/Walk will be offered in-person this year, you may choose to participate virtually. A virtual race is a race that you can do anywhere and anytime! How does it work? You can run your 5K or walk your two miles anywhere, anytime during the month of September. Please note: Virtual participants will not receive their T-shirt until after the event.
Can I split the distance up into different runs/walks/days?
If you participate virtually, we encourage you to take your time and make this event your own. If you participate on the event date, the 5k will need to be completed during the event times.
When can I pick up my Run/Walk packet?
Walk packets will be handed out during check-in, starting at 8:30 am on September 27th. If you’re participating virtually, your T-shirt will be mailed the following week.
