Hello from Hank!
Hi there, friends! My name’s Hank, and I’m the friendliest four-legged team member here at Gilda’s Club Minnesota! I’m a four-year-old golden retriever, and let me tell you—I was born for this job. After being rescued, I found my forever home here, and I couldn’t be happier. I get to spend my days right in the clubhouse, giving support, sharing snuggles, and making sure every visitor knows just how special they are.
When you walk through those red doors, I’ll be there to greet you with a friendly wag and a soft nuzzle. Some people say I have the gift of “just knowing” when someone needs a quiet moment, a cozy cuddle, or just a little friendly face to listen. Whatever your day holds, you can count on me to be there, seeing you as the whole, wonderful person you are—just as you are.
I understand that not everyone is a fan of dogs, and that’s okay! I promise to respect your space and give you the room you need to feel comfortable. Whether that means keeping my distance or simply offering a quick wag from across the room, I’m happy to adjust. My goal is to make everyone feel welcome, and if a little less doggy energy helps, I’m all for it. Just let my human friends know, and I’ll be sure to give you all the respect and understanding you deserve. We’re all about making the clubhouse a safe and cozy space for everyone.
Whether you want a buddy to sit with you, a little golden fluff to pet while you share your story, or just a warm, furry friend nearby, I’m here for you. After all, that’s what family does, right? And here at Gilda’s Club, we’re all family.
