Support and Wellness at Gilda’s Club

Gilda's Club Minnesota June 18, 2026

At Gilda’s Club, both support groups and Healthy Lifestyle programs have been essential to our mission to ensure that no one faces cancer alone. Whether someone is newly diagnosed, post-treatment, supporting a loved one, or grieving a loss these programs provide connection, education, and opportunities for whole-person support.

Each week, we host at least 20 support groups, where Minnesotans with a cancer diagnosis, their friends and family members, and those living with loss due to cancer can find connection, comfort, and a sense of community. Most of our support groups take place weekly, making support consistent and accessible at every stage of the cancer journey.

Our Healthy Lifestyle programming also plays in important role in whole-person care, giving members a chance to focus on wellness, stress reduction, and quality of life. In 2026 we’ve been expanding our program offerings, adding more sound healing, reiki, and yoga classes to our calendar by building partnerships with local practitioners. So far this year, members have attended a support group session, class, workshop, or social event at Gilda’s Club more than 4,000 times.

While the numbers reflect reach, the true impact is found in the experience: the relief of “me too,” the courage to share, the comfort of being understood, and the reminder that no one is alone.

We are deeply grateful to our facilitators, volunteers, and participants who make this work possible each week.

As we continue through the year, our focus remains on expanding access to support and wellness programming and ensuring that anyone impacted by cancer can find connection and care.

Thank you for being part of this community.

With peace and gratitude,
