Hearts and Hands offers support to families that have a child with a physical life-threatening illness.
When a parent learns that their child is facing a life-threatening condition it is the beginning of what is surely the most difficult, stressful and uncertain time in their life. Hearts and Hands is here to help families maintain daily living concerns making it possible for them to spend time with their ill child. Hearts and hands will provide help to families for transportation, household maintenance, basic and immediate needs, and refer when possible to additional resources.
Who Is Eligible?
Hearts and Hands provides assistance to low-income families that have a child with a life-threatening illness
The child must be under the age of 19
The child must be undergoing treatment in or at a Minnesota located hospital.
Hearts and Hands is not able to assist families with children that have a chronic condition or illness.
