Finding Healing in the Heart of Winter
Dear Friends,
As winter settles over Minnesota, its quiet stillness brings a unique opportunity for reflection and healing. The snow blankets the earth, and the world seems to pause—a moment of calm amidst the hustle of our lives. For those facing the challenges of cancer, this season can be a time to embrace both the physical and emotional aspects of healing.
Winter reminds us that rest is part of the cycle of life. Just as trees conserve their energy in preparation for spring, we, too, can use this time to focus inward. Healing isn’t only about treatments and physical recovery; it’s also about nurturing your spirit. Allow yourself to pause, to breathe, and to reflect on the progress you’ve made—however small it may feel. Every step forward is significant.
Here at Gilda’s Club Minnesota, we are honored to walk beside you on this journey. We understand that healing takes many forms: a warm conversation during a support group, a burst of laughter in a creative workshop, or a quiet moment of mindfulness in a wellness session. This winter, I encourage you to lean into these opportunities. Let us help you find warmth and connection in the midst of the cold.
None of this would be possible without the generosity of our donors and community supporters. This year, because of your compassion and unwavering belief in our mission, we have been able to expand our programming, welcome new members, and continue creating a space where no one has to face cancer alone. Your support has touched the lives of so many, and for that, we are deeply grateful.
As we look to the year ahead, I am filled with hope and gratitude. With your continued support, we will continue to grow stronger together—offering even more opportunities for healing, connection, and empowerment. Thank you for being an essential part of our Gilda’s Club family.
May this season bring you moments of peace, warmth, and renewal. As the days grow longer and the promise of spring approaches, know that we are here for you—today, tomorrow, and always.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Katherine Todd
