Gilda’s Club Minnesota to Celebrate 10th Anniversary with Gala
Gilda’s Club Minnesota is planning to celebrate its tenth anniversary with a gala and silent auction on Thursday, April 18th, 2024.
Gilda’s Club Minnesota (then Gilda’s Club Twin Cities) opened its doors for the first time in 2014. Since then, the organization has provided free social and emotional support to nearly 4,000 Minnesotans impacted by cancer. The 10th Anniversary Gala will honor the founders of Gilda’s Club, who worked to build a place where people living with cancer, their loved ones, and those living with loss due to cancer could find support, belonging, and mutual understanding.
The anniversary celebration will take place at A’BULAE in downtown St. Paul starting at 5:30 p.m. on April 18th. Attendees will enjoy mingling, gourmet food stations, and a program celebrating the past, present, and future of Gilda’s Club Minnesota. Attendees will also be able to take part in live and silent auctions and a gift card pull, with funds benefiting Gilda’s Club’s five-part supportive programming for people impacted by cancer. Supporters unable to attend the gala are able to take part in the event’s silent auction virtually.
“We’re so proud to be celebrating this milestone” says Katherine Todd, DNP, RN, MBA, Gilda’s Club’s executive director. “Over the past decade we’ve provided to support to so many members, started delivering our programming virtually, and expanded our work beyond the Twin Cities. Everything we’ve accomplished has been thanks to an incredible level of support from our community.”
Tickets to the Gilda’s Club Minnesota 10th Anniversary Gala are $150, and sponsorships at various levels are available, starting at $2,000 for a table.
