Community Gives Day

On Monday, June 28, Gilda’s Club Minnesota will mark the birthday SNL legend Gilda Radner by hosting our first-ever Community Gives Day in conjunction with our parent organization, the Cancer Support Community, and Gilda’s Club network of affiliates and hospital partners. We invite you to join us in paying tribute to Gilda’s legacy on this special day by supporting all people impacted by cancer.

This year, nearly 1.8 million Americans will learn they have been diagnosed with cancer, and about 17 million will continue their journey as cancer survivors. The COVID-19 pandemic has only exacerbated the challenges related to a diagnosis–all of which underscores the need for a day to show cancer patients and their families we are on their side.

Community Gives Day will help provide support and services to people impacted by cancer at no cost to them—including emotional support, nutrition and healthy lifestyle, education, information and referrals, digital resources, and more.

There are many ways to get involved, including donating and spreading the word on your own social media pages. All GCTC supporters are invited to a special live AFFILATE WIDE virtual Block Party on Community Gives Day, June 28, at 7:00 pm CT / 8:00 pm ET.
