Families Impacted by Cancer
If you’re a parent, grandparent or primary caregiver impacted by cancer in your family, you understand first-hand how helping children navigate this experience can be extremely challenging. We get how complex it is to juggle work, parenting, social activities…and cancer. That’s why Gilda’s Club offers support for the whole family, the whole time. At Gilda’s Club, you will get to connect meaningfully with other parents and caregivers who “get it.” We also offer age-appropriate opportunities for kids and teens, and can share reputable resources for them to get the additional support they need.
To learn more about getting your family involved in our Children, Teen and Family program:
- Parents should first attend a New Member Meeting to learn more
- Following the New Member Meeting, we will schedule a CMP (customized membership plan) to discuss which Gilda’s Club programming may fit your family.
If you have additional questions or need resources or referral, you may contact Program Director Bridget Eickhoff at Bridget.Eickhoff@GildasClubMN.org or 952-767-7625.
