“Hi, my name is Elena Beckius. This weekend we celebrated the birthday of my mother-in-law, Pat Beckius. Unfortunately, she passed away to cancer in 2013. Pat was an amazing mother-in-law, mother, grandma, wife, sister, teacher – in fact, every role that she played in her family, in her community, in her work, she played very well. We miss her so much. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate Pat than to sponsor a day at Gilda’s Club Minnesota. We love Gilda’s Club because we believe that no one should face cancer alone.
