A Year of Impact and Celebration

Gilda's Club Minnesota December 22, 2025

As we reflect on 2025, I am filled with pride and gratitude for the extraordinary impact Gilda’s Club Minnesota continues to have on our community. This year has been marked by innovation, connection, and recognition for the meaningful ways we support individuals and families affected by cancer.

At the heart of our work is our enduring mission: to ensure that no one faces cancer alone. Every day, our staff, volunteers, and members embody compassion, resilience, and warmth, creating a space where healing and connection flourish.

Highlights from 2025 include:

  • Award Recognition: We were honored to receive the Ovarian Cancer Midwest Focus Conference Award for Excellence in Community Outreach, recognizing our dedication to expanding cancer support and community engagement.
  • National Collaboration: Gilda’s Club proudly helped host the Native Cancer Policy Summit alongside our national partners, bringing together advocates, clinicians, and community leaders to address health disparities and improve cancer care for Indigenous communities.
  • Research Publication: Our commitment to understanding the unique needs of rural communities impacted by cancer was showcased through publication of our rural cancer research, highlighting both the challenges and the solutions we are developing to ensure equitable support.
  • Community Engagement: We had the honor of emceeing Minnesota’s Breakthrough for Brain Tumors 5K, connecting with survivors, caregivers, and supporters while raising awareness and funds for critical brain tumor initiatives.
  • Member-Centered Programs: Our programming continues to grow and evolve, from creative arts and improv sessions to wellness workshops and one-on-one support, providing meaningful ways for members to engage, connect, and heal.
  • Supporter Impact: Generous contributions from our donors, volunteers, and partners allowed us to expand services, enhance wellness resources, and create initiatives like the Little Free Pantry, ensuring our members’ practical and emotional needs are met.
  • Team Excellence: Our staff and volunteer team demonstrate unwavering dedication, professionalism, and empathy. Their commitment ensures that Gilda’s Club remains a safe, welcoming, and supportive home for all who walk through our red doors.

As we look to the year ahead, we remain committed to growing our impact, deepening our programs, and strengthening connections across Minnesota. Every story shared, every laugh in the clubhouse, and every moment of support creates a ripple effect of hope, resilience, and community.

Thank you to our members, volunteers, donors, and partners for making 2025 a year of remarkable achievement and meaningful difference. Together, we ensure that no one faces cancer alone.

With deep appreciation,
