Looking Forward to the Year to Come

Ensuring the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, and members is our driving force.  There is no roadmap for this transition and each day new questions arise.  We are closely following the recommendations of state and federal institutions as well as working with members of our Board of Directors and Medical Advisory Board to establish a comprehensive plan to reopen our red doors.  Continue reading Libby’s article on the year to come here.

Find Your Voice, Share Your Story

As we wrap up the chapter on 2020, we eagerly and hopefully look forward to what will be written in 2021. Many Gilda’s members share that writing their story has had many benefits including, self-expression, the ability to give friends & family insight without needing to repeat, and a journal/timeline to reflect on the cancer journey. The pandemic brought much to a halt … but not cancer. In fact, COVID-19 and the resulting social isolation we’re all experiencing has only intensified the need for the free support that Gilda’s Club Minnesota offers to everyone impacted by cancer.
