We are proud to announce that our Marketing and Development Director, Brianna (Bri) Garcia-Meyers, has been accepted into the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management graduate program. We have been working over the last year to support this next big step for her, so while it does not come as a surprise, it is bittersweet as we will miss her greatly as she sunsets her time with us on August 1st to pursue her higher education. Bri is an exceptional individual who has made a lasting and valuable impact on Gilda’s Club. It has been a pleasure to support her growth and development, and we are all excited to watch her flourish in her next chapter as a graduate student. Undoubtedly, she will thrive and continue to influence our community in endlessly positive ways.

A NOTE FROM BRIANNA (BRI) GARCIA-MEYERS, MARKETING AND DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
Today, I pen these words with a bittersweet mixture of excitement and nostalgia. After three incredible years of working at Gilda’s Club Minnesota, the time has come for me to embark on a new chapter in my life. I will be leaving this cherished workplace to pursue a graduate school program. I will be starting the Carlson School of Management in August. My last day at Gilda’s Club will be August 1st. As I prepare for this transition, I reflect upon the invaluable experiences and connections forged within these walls.
When I first walked through these doors, I was greeted by a vibrant community of individuals who shared a common purpose and dedication. The kindness, support, and camaraderie I have witnessed and received throughout my tenure have left an incredible mark on my heart. The memories we created together, the challenges we faced, and the triumphs we celebrated have shaped not only my professional development but also my personal character. I am grateful for the cherished memories we have created, and I carry them with me as I move forward.
I would like to extend my deepest appreciation to our esteemed leadership, who have provided me with guidance and encouragement throughout my tenure. Your trust and belief in my abilities have fueled my professional growth, and I am truly thankful for your mentorship.
Finally, I extend my deepest gratitude to each member of this remarkable team. Your unwavering support, encouragement, and belief in my potential have been the driving force behind my growth and success.
